What is Boot Camp Nelson?
We provide a challenging but enjoyable workout session at different outdoor locations around Nelson. Our Boot Camp sessions are suitable for all levels of fitness, and our instructors are trained to ensure you get the workout that’s right for you. We have daily sessions at 6am, 9am and 6pm. Check out our timetable at the top of your screen.
How does it work?
All sessions we offer last for 1hr and include our warm up, the main body of the session and a warm down to wind you back down again. Feel free to arrive a little earlier then the stated start time to start your own warm up (and wake up for the 6am sessions), but we generally aim to get underway within a few minutes. Our warm ups do vary depending on who is taking the session and are usually structured to suit the type of session that is planned but offer a range of activities usually involving some dynamic exercises, something aerobic, perhaps some balance/stability, coordination drills and maybe some running (but you are always welcome to walk). The early morning sessions and colder days usually have a longer warm up to compensate for the early morning stiffness we have at these times.
The main body of the session usually lasts about 30mins and who knows what that might be or what you might get? But thats the fun of our sessions, variety and randomness. As one of our regular's, Wendy says, "You never know what the session is going to involve, it’s always different which makes it fun."
We do our best to offer different styles of sessions that give you opportunity to work at your own pace/intensity, other times having games and races individually, pairs and groups. Other sessions are more group or team based so have some fun together with your new friends and work towards the bigger goal together. Finally we finish off with some core and mid section focused exercise followed by some quieter wind own, relax and stretch time.
Then BOOM, session done, hopefully you are done too and now time to chat to others and reflect on what step you just took towards the better you. Guarantee you will now be feeling better than when you turned up, time to roll into your day and get going.

2 sessions per week - $85 per month
3 sessions per week - $115 per month
Unlimited sessions per week - $145 per month
